The Northern Division Men's Group competition of the 2019-2020 CUVA China University Volleyball Association wrapped up in Panjin city, Liaoning province on Dec 18. 

More than 430 athletes and 31 teams from various universities including Beijing Sports University, Harbin Institute of Physical Education, Tianjin Institute of Physical Education, Nankai University, and Inner Mongolia Normal University, or the IMNU, participated in the competition. 

Under the leadership of coach Yang Yugen, the 16 athletes sent by IMNU entered the top 24 for the first time after fierce competitions in group matches and cross matches. 

Approved and sponsored by the China University Students Sports Association, CUVA China University Volleyball Association includes Men's Volleyball League and the Women's Volleyball League. 

Since its establishment in 2006, it has become the highest level of volleyball competitions in China.
