Experts discuss green food development at IMNU
The Green Food Development Symposium and the annual meeting of the Society of Food Science and Technology of Inner Mongolia autonomous region were held at Inner Mongolia Normal University on Dec 7, according to IMNU officials.
Zhang Lanping, a researcher from the Institute of Science and Technology Association of Inner Mongolia, attended the meeting.
She praised the event as a necessary effort being made by local academic community to improve and expand the creation of academic disciplines and deepen research.
Zhang Guiyou, director of the community and awards department of the Social Organization Federation of Inner Mongolia, said that the conference marked a new step taken in the development of food science and technologies in the region.
He said he believed that Society of Food Science and Technology of Inner Mongolia would play a greater role in the research and development of the green food industry.
The Society of Food Science and Technology of Inner Mongolia was inaugurated in the Inner Mongolia Normal University in 2018, a body dedicated to the scientific research and industrial transformation of green food technologies.
