The National Ballet of China performed at Inner Mongolia Normal University (IMNU) on May 18, winning applause and praise from over 500 IMNU students and teachers.

This performance is one of a series of cultural events that has been organized for college students.

Launched in 2005, the events are organized by the Ministry of Education, Ministry of Culture and Tourism, and the Ministry of Finance.

The National Ballet of China has taken part in the initiative for the past 13 years, in an effort to expose students to high culture.

On behalf of the university, Liu Jiuwan, vice-president of IMNU expressed his gratitude by presenting gifts to the ballet troupe.
