Dunhuang Murals Exhibition celebrates Buddhist art at IMNU
The exhibition is also part of the "Chinese and Foreign Art Exhibition", an event of the IMNU-initiated Silk Road International Naadam Festival. It is the first time the art of Dunhuang has been exhibited at an Inner Mongolian university.
The exhibits include 66 paintings and a full-size replica of Dunhuang No 285 cave, along with two statues, silk paintings, and other unearthed relics.
Zhang Weiwen, deputy secretary-general of the CDGCRF, Gao Yunfeng, deputy Party chief of IMNU, and Zhang Haifeng and Liu Jiuwan, IMNU's vice presidents, were also present at the opening ceremony.
