A joint conference of training bases of the International Confucian Association (ICA), sponsored by the ICA and hosted by the Yangming Academy and the Jishan Wang Yangming Research Institute, was held in Shaoxing, Zhejiang province, on October 30, 2023. 

ICA Vice Chairman Li Wenliang and other experts attended the conference which was chaired by the ICA Secretary-General Jia Deyong.

Establishing training bases is an innovative initiative of the 6th ICA. Currently, such bases have been set up in provinces of Shandong, Zhejiang, Jiangsu, and Fujian.

The conference focused on leveraging resource advantages, enhancing communication, strengthening talent development, promoting cultural exchange, and standardizing construction.

The conference also featured the ICA's ceremony of book donations to training bases.
