The Sustainability Global Leaders Conference 2026 opened in Shanghai on Oct 20.

During the conference, Yili released its 2025 Sustainable Social Value Accounting Report, disclosing that the group generated 10.38 billion yuan ($1.55 billion) in sustainable social value in 2025.

Yili operates 15 innovation hubs globally and leads the development of the National Dairy Technology Innovation Center, bringing together more than 10 academicians from the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Chinese Academy of Engineering.

Yili has provided more than 37 billion yuan in financing support for partner ranches. Its technical team of over 1,000 professionals delivers more than 100,000 free on-site technical services each year.

The company signs long-term contracts with ranches and purchases all qualified raw milk. Its self-developed Yiqi Niu Smart Pasture Management System is made available free of charge to partner farms to support refined livestock management. Since 2014, Yili has disbursed over 300 billion yuan in milk payments and helped its partner ranches achieve an income increase of 20.3 billion yuan.

In 2025, Yili carried out 3,248 energy conservation and emission reduction projects. By the end of 2025, 45 of its subsidiaries and production sites had obtained national Green Factory certification, and five factories had earned Carbon-Neutral Factory certification.
