Yili tops global dairy brand value rankings for seventh consecutive year
Brand Finance, the international brand valuation consultancy, released its Top 10 Most Valuable Dairy Brands list on Aug 27. Yili once again claimed the No 1 position, marking seven straight years at the top.
The ranking evaluates brands based on corporate financial performance, consumer perception, and future growth potential. Its methodology is recognized across the industry for its professionalism and independence.
Yili first reached the summit in 2020 and has maintained its leadership ever since, underpinned by robust business results, forward-looking R&D innovation, and sustainable brand momentum.
In 2025, Yili reported total operating revenue of 115.93 billion yuan ($17.25 billion), maintaining a clear lead in China's dairy sector. Total profits reached 12.99 billion yuan, up 28.31 percent year on year, while net profit attributable to the parent company hit 11.57 billion yuan. In the first half of 2026, the company posted operating revenue of 64.49 billion yuan, a 4.13 percent year-on-year increase, with core operating profit of 8.38 billion yuan, up 10 percent. Both revenue and core operating profit continue to rank first among all Asian dairy companies.
Yili continues to innovate across scientific nutritional ratios and taste experience, drawing on a deep R&D pipeline to launch a continuous stream of new products. On Aug 19, Kantar Worldpanel released the China market rankings from its 2026 Brand Footprint Report, with Yili topping the list of China's Top 10 Consumer Choice Brands for the 11th consecutive year.
