2026 Green Computing Power (AI) Conference opens in Hohhot
The 2026 Green Computing Power (Artificial Intelligence) Conference was held in Hohhot on Aug 22, featuring an opening ceremony, keynote speeches, release of research reports, two thematic events, and 10 forums.
At the opening ceremony, major research reports were released, including the Research Report on the Development of Green Computing Power (2026) and the "East Data, West Computing" Hub Nodes Green Computing Power Index Research Report. The construction of the Digital Services Overseas Expansion (Token Export) Integrated Service Platform was launched as well.
Key achievements unveiled included the first batch of national trusted data space results, and the green computing power industry electricity security capacity building results in Inner Mongolia autonomous region. The National Video Large-Model Computing Power Base was also inaugurated.
During the conference, a number of leading enterprises in the industrial chain signed agreements on several 10-billion-yuan-level ($1.48-billion-level) projects, focusing on areas such as green intelligent computing centers, token factories, and electricity-computing power equipment manufacturing.
The conference invited renowned experts and scholars including Tan Jianrong, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, as well as heads of leading enterprises such as Huawei and Volcano Engine, who delivered keynote speeches on electricity-computing power synergy, AI, token economy, and computing power network construction.
