The first export of photovoltaic equipment from Hohhot Comprehensive Bonded Zone was completed on May 13. A China-Mongolia TIR international road freight vehicle carrying the equipment departed for Mongolia to support local power supply efforts.

This inaugural cross-border export of photovoltaic equipment marks a significant milestone for Hohhot Comprehensive Bonded Zone in advancing the national strategy of opening up to the north, deepening economic and trade exchanges with Mongolia, and supporting local enterprises in expanding into the Mongolian market.

The successful execution of this business reduces cross-border logistics time and costs for new energy enterprises, while creating a convenient channel and opening a new pathway for local and domestic manufacturers of new energy equipment to enter the Mongolian market. It sets a precedent for TIR cross-border transport of Hohhot's new energy equipment to Mongolia and establishes an efficient overland logistics channel connecting the autonomous region's capital with the Mongolian market for the new energy industry.

The exported photovoltaic equipment includes core components of new energy systems, featuring core functions such as high-efficiency solar energy conversion, enabling the transformation of light energy into clean electricity with zero pollutant emissions during production and use. The shipment is expected to arrive in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, within two days.

By leveraging the China (Inner Mongolia) Pilot Free Trade Zone, Hohhot Comprehensive Bonded Zone is capitalizing on the Hohhot-Ulaanbaatar TIR international transport corridor to provide export enterprises with full-chain, one-stop professional services.

Moving forward, Hohhot Comprehensive Bonded Zone will continue to improve its cross-border international logistics system, strengthen its opening-up services, and contribute to the high-quality development of the China-Mongolia-Russia Economic Corridor.
