The 2026 Hohhot agricultural products expo opened at the Inner Mongolia International Convention and Exhibition Center on Jan 30.

The event will run until Feb 11 and aims to provide visitors with a platform for purchasing Chinese New Year's goods that combine a festive atmosphere, delicious food, and rich cultural elements.

This expo, centered around the theme of "Benefiting the People, Assisting Farmers, Activating Consumption, and Empowering Culture", see the participation of 33 enterprises and merchants.

Agricultural products such as Wuchuan county potatoes are supplied on-site, becoming popular choices among visitors for their fresh quality and authentic flavor.

Traditional artisans showcase their skills on-site, using red paper and scissors to cut out various auspicious patterns, with many visitors stopping to watch and try making their own. Meanwhile, calligraphers give out Spring Festival couplets and the character "Fu", which means "fortune" in English.

The expo also serves as a platform for cross-regional supply and marketing cooperation. Hohhot will continue to explore an "online + offline" integrated promotion model, conducting offline promotional activities and deepening online cooperation with e-commerce platforms.
