The Inner Mongolia Museum and the Hohhot Museum have prepared a variety of engaging activities. At the Inner Mongolia Museum, visitors can participate in a mural restoration experience called "Repairing Murals with Heart". Sessions will be held at 10:30 AM and 8:30 PM on May 18.

Additionally, the Inner Mongolia Museum will offer a dinosaur fossil restoration experience titled "Rebirth of Dinosaurs". Based on their paleontological research, this activity educates youth on the work that goes into the excavation and restoration of dinosaur fossils, with a session to be held at 8:30 PM on May 18.
At the Hohhot Museum, the anticipation is high for the exhibition of precious artifacts from the Sanxingdui Museum. Running from May 18 to September 15, this "Inquiring about Shu" exhibit is set to showcase 221 artifacts, including 112 precious items such as bronzes, ceramics, and lacquerware. It is said that this exhibition will narrate the development of Shu culture within the broader context of Chinese civilization.
These diverse activities highlight Hohhot's rich cultural heritage and promise an exciting International Museum Day for all visitors.
