Hohhot shines bright during May Day holiday

During this May Day holiday, Hohhot in North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region became a hotspot for tourists, with key cultural and heritage venues welcoming a total of 174,661 domestic visitors as of May 3.
The Inner Mongolia Museum received 59,582 domestic visitors from May 1 to 3, while the Inner Mongolia Museum of Natural History welcomed 27,860 visitors during the same period.

Among the city's major cultural institutions, the Hohhot Museum's six branches collectively oversaw 87,219 domestic visitors by May 3. Notably, the Zhaojun Museum and Residence of the General received a combined total of 60,954 domestic visitors.
These figures showcase the city's growing appeal as a cultural destination, with visitors flocking to explore its rich history and heritage during the holiday period.
