Qingshuihe county records strong industrial development in past decade

Qingshuihe county in Hohhot – capital city of North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region – has been developing strongly in an all-round way over the past decade, making solid strides in its high-quality economic development and it has significantly accelerated the process of its industrialization, according to local media reports.
The proportion of industrial added value in the county's GDP has gradually increased, accounting for 34.23 percent. The total industrial volume was 3.14 billion yuan ($436 million), 1.11 times that of a decade ago.
The number of industrial enterprises above a designated size in the county increased to 22, with an average annual growth rate of 8.9 percent in total output value.
In the past decade, a recycling industry system focusing on building materials, metallurgy energy and the chemicals industry has been formed, which has provided strong support for the stable economic growth of the county.
During the period, the gross value of industrial production above a designated size in the county increased from 3.4 billion yuan to 7.3 billion yuan, with an average annual growth rate of 8.9 percent.
The number of major industrial product varieties has increased from 11 to 18 and product output has achieved rapid growth.
What's more, the industrial structure has been adjusted and optimized and the development model has continued to change. The county has adhered to a new path of high-quality development with an ecological priority and green development as the guide.
It has promoted the construction of the Sanlian Chemical Relocation Technical Transformation Project and the Risun China Gas Expansion Technical Transformation Project to further improve the level of the chemicals industry supply chain.
Last year, 21 new energy, new materials, green food and recycling industry projects were introduced, with a total contract value of 26 billion yuan.
