In pics: Yellow River's Jizi Gulf in summertime
This section of the mighty Yellow River – running through North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region – strongly resembles the Chinese character Ji (几) from a distance, leading to its name, the Jizi Gulf. The region's capital Hohhot is among the cities nourished by the gulf's water and it is making every effort in terms of conservation of the surrounding environment.
