North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region held the 2019 Inner Mongolia IoT and AI Summit in Hohhot, capital of the region, on Aug 21.

The summit included discussions on how to develop the region's traditional industries through Internet of Things (IoT) and artificial intelligence (AI). Speeches, forums, and other events will be held with the goal of building a new innovative system to spur on high-quality development in the region.

Over 300 experts, leaders, and representatives of key enterprises from all over the country were invited to attend the summit and discuss important topics and development trends, as well as innovative applications of emerging technologies.

At the meeting, 10 key enterprises from the region shared their own innovation needs and held discussions with representatives from innovative solutions teams.
