The First Hohhot International Music Summer Camp was launched in Hohhot, in North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region on Aug 16, attracting throngs of music lovers and musicians from around the world.

Leading musicians from institutions including the Central Conservatory of Music attended the camp, bringing live music to the region's capital city.

Huang Yali, Party chief of Inner Mongolia Normal University, told the opening ceremony the summer camp will work as a platform for musicians to exchange ideas and skills.
