Hohhot Urban Rail Transit Company signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Huawei in Beijing on July 24.

According to the agreement, Hohhot Urban Rail Transit Company will work with Huawei to help improve the operational efficiency of Hohhot metro lines and better serve locals.

Liu Zhanying, chairman of Hohhot Urban Rail Transit Company, said that as a major solutions provider for the informationization of urban rail transit, Huawei has worked in the field of cloud computing, big data, the Internet of Things, and communications.

Liu said that the two sides will establish a working mechanism to apply Huawei's leading technology to the operations of the Hohhot metro.
