Cross-Straits Chinese character exhibition opens

The cross-Straits Chinese character exhibition was launched at Inner Mongolia Art Museum in Hohhot, in Inner Mongolia autonomous region, on July 23.
The exhibition showcases the calligraphy and seal engraving artworks of artists and teenagers from across the Straits.
Officials said that the exhibition was open to the public for free and it will run 11 days.
The exhibition is designed to build a platform for people across the Straits to exchange ideas in the arts, especially the art of Chinese calligraphy. It is expected to help boost academic exchanges across the country.
