New flight service links Hohhot with Phuket
A passenger plane from Thai Vietjet Air landed at Baita International Airport in Hohhot, in North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region on July 16, marking the official launch of a new flight service linking Hohhot with Phuket.
Officials said the flight, served by an Airbus A320, was the first international route inaugurated by Baita International Airport linking Hohhot and Phuket.
The flight departs Phuket at 02:20 on Tuesdays, and officials said the journey will take nearly seven hours. The return flight leaves at 10:00 the same day.
According to the government of Hohhot, the newly launched flight will boost commerce, culture and tourism in Inner Mongolia and Thailand.
