Sports meeting held for disabled in Hohhot

The sixth sports meet for the disabled kicked off in Hohhot, capital of Inner Mongolia autonomous region on July 8, and ran for three days.
The event was designed to help create in society a more inclusive and nurturing environment for the disabled to thrive in.
Over 300 athletes from across Inner Mongolia participated in the sports meet.
The sports event included 113 competitions in track and field. Organizers said that the event lasted three days.
The municipal government of Hohhot has taken the lead in improving the social security, employment and living conditions for the disabled, officials said.
They added that the organization behind the sports event for the disabled had also been improved across the city.
