Key LPG storage, distribution station starts operating
An important new liquefied petroleum gas storage and distribution station officially began operating at Saihan district in Hohhot, capital of Inner Mongolia autonomous region recently, according to officials.
They said that as an important infrastructure and energy supply support base, it is the only LPG storage and distribution station in Hohhot and the largest one in the northern area of China.
With a total investment of 61.26 million yuan ($8.9 million), the station covers an area of just over 3 hectares.
Officials said that the station can meet the demands of the whole city, with its total LPG storage capacity now reaching 260 metric tons.
