Herbaceous peony festival set to flourish in June

The 2019 Chinese Herbaceous Peony Festival is set to open in Hohhot, capital city of Inner Mongolia autonomous region on June 1, Horinger county announced on May 27.
The festival, an annual festival launched 10 years ago, will last for 20 days.
According to the government of Horinger county, the festival will boast a food festival, equestrian shows, photography exhibitions, hiking events and an array of cultural performances.
Exhibitions on local specialties, agricultural products and cuisines will also be on hand for visitors to enjoy.
