Mulberries add color to Hechi village

Yongxing village in Jinchengjiang district, Hechi, Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, is home to a 6,670-square-meter acreage of mulberry trees.

A large number of tourists visit the village to pick mulberries when the harvest season comes.

Tan Menghua, a local villager, whose family planted mulberry trees covering 3,335 sq m, was busy with the harvest.

"I had to asked over 30 villagers to help me pick the mulberries," said Tan, "We can pick three tons of mulberries every day, hoping that will bring us good fortune."
