Hechi signs 11 billion yuan deal with ENN Group
Hechi government reached a strategic investment framework agreement with domestic clean fuel provider ENN Group on Jan 19, to cooperate on tourism, industrial upgrading, and poverty alleviation by education.
With a planned total investment value of 11 billion yuan ($1.6 billion), the main cooperation modes under the agreement will be Public-Private Partnership and direct investment, Hechi Daily reported.
He Xinxing, Party chief of Hechi, said at the signing ceremony that Hechi's recent honor as China's first prefectural level World Longevity City gives its tourism much growth potential, and ENN will inject even more new energy into the sector.
Ju Xilin, Party secretary of ENN, said that the group plans to build a dozen high-end tourism projects along the Hongshui River and invest in local energy programs. The investment is expected to bring both economic and social benefits for the city by providing more than 10,000 jobs, he added.
Private energy supplier ENN distributes natural gas in 142 cities in China, serving more than 65 million people. It owns 527 gas refueling stations in 105 cities, providing compressed natural gas and LNG to vehicles.
