Media tour in Hechi: Dahua
From Nov 28 to Dec 4, 200 reporters from 86 major online media groups toured around Hechi, Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region.
In two groups along two different routes, the teams covered Hechi's current economic achievements, traditional culture, folk arts, tourism resources and health-promotion industry.
On Nov 29, a group of reporters visited Yao ethnic village in Dahua county, to gain deeper appreciation of Yao folk culture.
During the visit, the reporters appreciated the traditional craftsmanship of making Yao costumes, an exhibition of folk artworks and tasted local foods.
In the afternoon, reporters sailed upon a section of the reservoir at Dahua power station, whose beautiful scenery has won it the reputation of a "50-kilometer-long gallery".
The rich cultural heritages and unique sceneries left deep impression upon the reporters. One of the reporters, Jia Pan, noted, "Dahua is really a place worth visiting. I'll recommend it to my friends as a top tourist destination."
