Tourists' photos of Hechi go viral on Chinese social media

For one group of tourists visiting Hechi in South China's Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, dressing up in traditional costumes and taking a few photos in the beautiful rice fields near Linxiao village was just a fun way to spend an afternoon.

But little did they know that when they shared the photos on social media, they would become an Internet sensation, shared and republished thousands of times in just a few days!

The young womens' traditional costumes and playful poses set amid the beautiful late-autumn scenery made for an instantly popular and shareable set of photos.
