Caibao, the special food originated from Long'an township in Luocheng county, is wrapped in Swiss chard, and the inside part is made up of sticky rice, fried peanuts, and shrimp meat. It's especially popular with children.

Tanggao is made of sticky rice wrapped in banana leaves, and its agreeable sweetness is totally worth the risk of putting on weight.

Shuigao is made up of ground rice sauce mixed with brown granulated sugar that is then steamed in small pots.

Tofu Ball is a food that represents family unity, so it is a must in Hechi during traditional holidays. Made with chipped pork, egg white, peanuts, sliced ginger, and chopped shallot wrapped in thin sheets of tofu, the food has a lingering aftertaste.
