Aerobics contest promotes exercise to the masses

Hechi held its first ever Ruxin Cup Aerobics Contest on March 26 to promote exercise and a healthy lifestyle to the general public.

A total of 17 teams from counties and districts across Hechi, Guangxi, participated in the contest, displaying their excellent skills and discipline.

According to an organizing committee member of the contest, the competition was aimed at popularizing aerobics and sports as well as promoting the mass fitness program.

The event was sponsored by Hechi's bureau of culture, broadcasting, television, press, publication and sports, and organized by Hechi Aerobics Association.

After an intense competition, Yizhou team came out on top. Teams from Guangxi Modern Polytechnic College and Luocheng Mulam autonomous county won second prizes. Three teams won third prizes, six won best team awards and another five received honorable mentions.
