Hechi snows!

Ten counties and districts in Hechi, Guangxi, experienced snowy weather during the past weekend on Jan 23 and 24.

Such chilly weather has been rare in the region in recent years, but this year saw northern mountainous areas getting down as low as -4 C.

According to the Hechi meteorological observatory, the low temperatures will remain for three days and most areas will see frost in the morning. The temperature will rise gradually on Jan 27 with minimum temperatures above 0 C.
