Dahua-Bama Secondary Road to be completed by end of January
The construction of the Dahua-Bama Secondary Road has entered into its final "testing" phase after more than two years' work and is expected to be completed by the end of January.
The road is the most convenient to reach Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region capital, Nanning, from three counties, Donglan, Bama and Fengshan. As a significant road along the Hongshui River, it can also lead to the Dahua power station and Yantan power station.
The road has a total length of about 114.52 kilometers, costing 750 million yuan ($114 million). It is within the region of Dahua Yao and Bama Yao autonomous counties, both in the city of Hechi.
The construction started in May 2013 and practical tests are currently being carried out.
