Hechi awards 5.3m yuan to 39 private enterprises

A total of 39 private enterprises in Hechi, Guangxi, were recently awarded 5.3 million yuan ($805,600) by the local government for their contribution to economic growth.

In 2013 and 2014, facing the increasing pressure of economic downturn, Hechi's private enterprises actively adapted to the new conditions, searched for new methods and responded to the new challenges.

They sought to increase the industry chain, upgrade skills, foster innovation to better exploit markets and develop industry.

Therefore, the Hechi municipal Party committee and local government allocated funds to encourage five categories of enterprises, including industry, agriculture, commerce circulation, construction and real estate development as well as tourism and culture.

Guangxi Hechi Nanfang Nonferrous Metals Group won the first prize for industrial enterprises in 2013 and 2014. Guangxi Bama Longevity Geological Park Development Company also won the first prize for tourism and cultural enterprises in 2013 and 2014.
