Huanjiang singing competition for 'Nongxin Cup' ends

The award ceremony for the final of the Huanjiang area of the 2015 "Nongxin Cup" Singing Competition was held at the National Cultural Square in Huanjiang Maonan autonomous county, on Dec 30.

The competition was organized by Guangxi TV, the Huanjiang county Party committee, the Huanjiang government, local cultural, broadcasting, press and sports bureau and local television station.

A total of 239 music lovers participated in the competition on Nov 8. By audience voting eight contestants made it through the quarter-finals and semifinals to the final round; three of whom were the top winners and will take part in the Guangxi final on behalf of Huanjiang.

At a charity evening party as part of the Huanjiang final, the organizers held a donation raising ceremony. All the money collected will be used to improve the living and education conditions of local underprivileged children.
