Du'an county to embrace 60th anniversary

The Du'an Yao autonomous county in Hechi, Guangxi, will celebrate its 60th anniversary on Dec 15.

Founded on Dec 15, 1955, Du'an has experienced 60 years of construction and development. It has been striving to improve the living environment of 12 ethnic groups and has started a new approach to tourism.

The county's gross regional domestic product is expected to reach 3.8 billion yuan ($588.2 million) this year with fiscal revenue of 400 million yuan. The rural per capita net income stands at 5,600 yuan and the urban per capita disposable income is above 20,000 yuan.
