Nandan adds 30 taxis

Nandan county in Hechi, Guangxi, added 30 taxis on Dec 5.

In recent years, Nandan has fought against illegal transportation businesses. However, the shortage of transport vehicles became prominent.

Therefore, the county opened its first taxicab tendering operation at Hechi Common Resource Transaction Center on June 5. Nandan's Xincheng Township Transportation Co won the bidding and planned to add 80 taxis within five years, increasing the total to 161 taxis.

To improve service quality and strengthen management, the taxis will be purchased by the company under unified administration. Local residents can call for pickup and delivery services 24 hours a day.
