Yizhou female team wins second place in Guangxi's basketball tournament

The final of the 11th Guangxi "Baqun Cup" basketball tournament was held at the gymnasium of Pingguo county in Baise, Guangxi, on the evening of Dec 6.

After five days' competition, the Yizhou female team representing Yizhou, Hechi, won second place, following the Pingguo female team and followed by the Wuming team. As for the male group games, the Pingguo team also finished first, with the Daxin team ranking second and the Debao team third.

The tournament selected a total of 420 athletes in 16 male teams and 14 female teams from 36 counties in Nanning, Baise, Hechi and Chongzuo to attend the final match. Four male and three female teams of Hechi made it to the final eight.

The final of the 2016 Guangxi "Baqun Cup" basketball tournament will be held at Lingyun county in Baise.
