Hechi arranges blind dates for singles

The Hechi Communist Youth League Committee organized a blind-date activity for single people working in Hechi, Guangxi, on Nov 10, the day before Singles Day.

The activity attracted more than 80 young people, accompanied by their relatives and friends, making for a lively and harmonious time.

The singles included business office workers, medical personnel and public institutions' staff. They chatted with each other and played games together.

One pair confessed their love for each other. Another 20 participants exchanged telephone numbers after the activity and were willing to make further contact.

An official of the Hechi Communist Youth League Committee said that love and marriage have become the most important things for young workers because of the increasing pace of life and work and narrow social circles. The Hechi Communist Youth League Committee will carry out more such activities to enhance communication among local young people.
