Hechi invests 745m yuan in Daren Industrial Park infrastructure

The Daren Industrial Park in Hechi, Guangxi, has made infrastructure construction worth investments of 745 million yuan ($117.64 million) so far, according to Hechi's industrial park management committee.

The second level roads project connecting the industrial park with periphery has seen 180-million yuan investments and the road network has been invested 387 million yuan. The water supply engineering investments totaled 166 million yuan, while the sewage treatment plant project and power transmission and distribution project got investments worth 4.49 million yuan and 8 million yuan respectively.

The Daren Industrial Park has a total planning area of 25 square kilometers and the first stage construction covers 12 square kilometers. It aims to be an ecological circular economic industrial park focusing on non-ferrous metal metallurgy and deep processing, chemical engineering and building materials.

Upon completion, the Daren Industrial Park will promote transformation and upgrading of local non-ferrous metal industry in Hechi and further improve the city's ecological environment.
