Longtan Hydropower Station opens floodgates for CCTV

The Longtan Hydropower Station opened its floodgates on Nov 2 for a CCTV documentary shooting.

As one of the key projects in China, the Longtan Hydropower Station in Tian'e county, Hechi, Guangxi, was included in CCTV's documentary program Great-Power Projects.

The floodgates opened for 20 minutes and a total of 2.36 million cubic meters of water was released through flood barriers, creating spectacular scenes. The rare occasion attracted thousands of people on both sides of the Hongshui River.
