Huanjiang's mountain bike tournament ends

The ASEAN International Mountain Bike Cycling Invitational Tournament, held as part of the Huanjiang Red Pomelo Festival, ended in Huanjiang Maonan autonomous county in Hechi, Guangxi, on Oct 18.

Nearly 200 cycling enthusiasts from some ASEAN countries, such as Vietnam, Thailand and Cambodia, and cyclists from various cities across China took part in the tournament.

The total length of the racing track was 50 kilometers, covering variety of road surfaces including cement, gravel and dirt roads, as well as abrupt slopes and curves.

The tournament was sponsored by Huanjiang county Party committee and the people's government and organized by local administration of culture, radio, press and sports and Guangxi Cycling Association. It aims to promote fitness programs for masses and Huanjiang's karst landform and idyllic scenery.
