Hechi receives 355.8m tourism revenue during National Day holiday

Hechi earned 355.8 million yuan ($56.1 million) in tourism revenues as more than 1.36 million tourists visited the city during the National Day holiday from Oct 1 to 7.

Hechi's tourism development committee said that the Typhoon Mujigae didn't affect the holiday tourism much despite it brushed past Hechi.

The number of visitors during the holiday increased by 17.11 percent compared to the same holiday period last year and the tourism revenues stood at 26.48 percent over the same period in 2014.

A total of 352,700 overnight visitors spent 145.54 million yuan in Hechi and the rest 1 million one-day tour visitors created about 210.25 million yuan revenue.
