Hechi harvests more than 25b yuan of investment at the 12th CAEXPO

Hechi attracted more than 25 billion yuan ($3.92 billion) of investment by signing 45 contracts at the signing ceremony of the 12th China-ASEAN Expo (CAEXPO) in Nanning, Guangxi, on Sept 19.

The investors, who came from places such as Hong Kong, Beijing, Shanghai and Hebei, invested in infrastructure, tourism, chemical engineering, commercial logistics, and other fields. A total of 39 projects attracted 100 million yuan of investment each and seven more than 1 billion yuan.

He Xinxing, mayor of Hechi, spoke at the signing ceremony. He said that the Hechi government has paid great attention to inviting investment for a long time. Favorable reports about investing in Hechi and preferential treatments have helped optimize the local investment environment.

He added that the city welcomes all kinds of investment and will provide considerable support for the development of investment projects, which in turn will promote Hechi's economic development and facilitate urban construction.
