Huanjiang attracts more than 3b yuan of investment at the 12th China-ASEAN Expo

The Huanjiang Maonan autonomous county in Hechi, Guangxi, signed two contracts worth 3.05 billion yuan ($477.9 million) of investment at the 12th China-ASEAN Expo Signing Ceremony in Nanning on Sept 19.

The first contracted project is between Huanjiang Wenya Doline Group and its supporting tourism projects and Guangxi Evergreen Art Gallery Tourism Resources Development Company. Guangxi Evergreen will provide an investment of 2.25 billion yuan. The Doline group will be developed into a national 5A tourist attraction emphasizing geological exploration and science education tourism.

The second project is the Huanjiang Urban Complex Development Project financed by Guangxi Lidong House Purchasing Investment Company with a total investment of 800 million yuan. The project will cover nearly 82 mu (5.47 hectares), including a four-star hotel catering to overseas tourists, several middle and top grade theme hotels, business hotels, shopping malls and office buildings. It will enhance Huanjiang's urban construction level and improve services in the autonomous county.
