Anhui Chamber of Commerce launches in Yizhou
Hechi's Anhui Chamber of Commerce has opened a branch in Yizhou, a county-level city of Hechi in Guangxi. For the occasion, a launch ceremony was held at Yizhou's Longzhou Island Tourist Resort on July 26, Hechi Daily reported.
Lu Ke, vice chairman of Hechi Municipal Political Consultative Conference, and some other senior officials from civil administration department and tourism development committee participated in the opening ceremony.
The Anhui Chamber of Commerce in Hechi was founded in March 2012, with most of its members being merchants from Anhui province engaging in business deals in Hechi's Jinchengjiang district. Since 2012, Anhui Chamber of Commerce provided more than 300,000 yuan ($48,330) for rural road construction, poverty alleviation and school building in an effort to contribute to Hechi's development.
In this April, the chamber of commerce was approved to be a legal social organization, including the first batch of 56 individual members and 35 member enterprises. Currently, about 10,000 Anhui merchants do business in Hechi. More than 350 companies engage in mineral resources exploitation, tourism, cultivation, chemical engineering, hotel, architecture and decoration businesses.
Chairman of Hechi's Anhui Chamber of Commerce, Wang Bin, said that the first stage construction of Longzhou Island Tourist Resort with an investment of 500 million yuan from the chamber of commerce had been completed and put into service. The second and third stage constructions will soon commence. The tourist resort will contribute to the development of Hechi's tourism industry.
