Donglan listed among top 10 cultural ecological scenic spots

Donglan county in Hechi was listed as one of the "National Top 10 Cultural Ecological Scenic Spots" at the first National Ecological Civilization Construction Summit Forum held in Beijing on July 18.

The forum was co-organized by the China Comment Periodical Office of the Xinhua News Agency, National Eco-civilized City and Scenic Spot Selection Office and China's National Condition Survey Research Center.

With the theme of "promoting ecological civilization construction, building beautiful green homeland", the activity unveiled 10 categories of awards. It aimed to promote the theory of green, cyclic and low-carbon development, and guide cities and scenic spots to develop sustainable economy.

In recent years, Donglan county has vigorously developed its revolutionary base tourism (red tourism), green ecology and health maintenance. Five of its red tourist attractions were developed into national 4A level and the county was included in the first batch of national classic red tourism attractions. It has also won titles such as "China's folk bronze drum culture and art village", "Chinese best green ecological county" and "Chinese longevity village".
