Research boost activity in Hechi ended

Hechi held a forum to conclude an eight-day research boost activity attended by nearly 100 agricultural experts with PhD degrees on July 15.

The doctors came from famous Chinese institutions of higher learning such as China Agricultural University, Beijing Forestry University and Nanjing Agricultural University. Two experts agreed to cooperate with Tian'e county people's government and Hechi agricultural bureau respectively.

The experts were divided into nine groups and carried out scientific and technical training and special research. They held a total of 19 technical knowledge training lectures and raised 47 proposals for local development during the course of the activity.

Nine experts who gave speeches on behalf of their groups at the forum made suggestions in such fields as rural land utilization, methods of plant cultivation, techniques of pest control and agricultural information construction.

The conference stressed that the end of the activity would not mean the termination of the cooperation and exchange. Hechi will take more measures to create a talent-friendly environment so as to cultivate and attract more talents.
