Yizhou recently praised and rewarded non-public-owned enterprises which made outstanding contributions to local industrial and economic development in 2014.

Altogether 21 enterprises received 1.7 million yuan ($274,000) in total, including big taxpayers, leading industrial, agricultural, tourism cultural and trade circulation enterprises.

Yizhou's non-public economy has experienced rapid development and has become the most vigorous economic entity in recent years. In 2014, the non-public economy amounted to 43 percent of the gross regional product of Yizhou and its tax revenue was over 70 percent of the total, providing over 80 percent of urban employment and over 90 percent of added posts.

To reach non-public economic targets in 2015, Yizhou has issued related documents to optimize the environment and encourage development by clearing away market access barriers, broadening financing channels, advocating independent innovation and improving the soft environment for non-public economic development.
