According to the second to the fifth nationwide population censuses, the centenarian proportion of the total population in Bama ranks first among the world's top five longest-living areas.

The documentary series is divided into five parts, with each lasting 30 minutes. The debut will be on CCTV-4 within the year. The documentary will explain the phenomenon of longevity in Guangxi from a Chinese viewpoint and examine its causes in historic culture, human geography, ecology and other areas.

As a key foreign publicity project of Guangxi in 2015, it will provide the world an opportunity to learn about the living conditions of people in Guangxi and establish a good image of Guangxi.
