Four counties in Hechi chosen as Guangxi's artistic creation bases

Guangxi's Agency of Cultural Affairs recently selected the first group of 24 artistic creation bases, four of which were from Hechi.

Hechi's Huanjiang county won the title of artistic creation base for the Maonan ethnicity, Luocheng for its Mulam culture, Nandan for its Shui culture and Donglan for its bronze drum culture.

The selection of creation bases was in the charge of local cultural administrative departments. Professional staff was organized to collect and classify cultural resources as creation materials for artists. The bases should provide service and convenience for artists and each base needs to receive at least 10 artists for their material collection every year.

Guangxi's Agency of Cultural Affairs will offer financial support for the bases. Regular assessment will be organized to commend outstanding bases and remove weak ones.
