Mo Zhengao was the headmaster of Du'an Yao Senior High School, who won titles such as national advanced worker and national teaching model. In his 43-year teaching career, he was willing to bear the burden of hard work and helped nearly 20,000 students to realize their college dreams. On March 9, Mo died of illness. More than 4,600 schools students of Du'an senior high spontaneously stood in silent tribute to the beloved headmaster.

The selection of "Chinese good people" is sponsored by the Central Civilization Office and undertaken by Chinese Civilization Net (www.wenming.cn). It names about 100 people each month. The honor is provided for five kinds of good people, for those who are forward to help others, who act bravely for a just cause, who are honest and trustworthy, who are dedicated to work and who show filial piety to parents.

Since 2008, a total of 7,777 people won the honor in the 75 lists published. Two Guangxi people were on the April list and Mo Zhengao was the only one from Hechi.
