Fifth selection of national moral models to start

The video and telephone conference of the fifth national moral model selections was held on April 30, arranging for the start of the activity.

The selection of national moral models has been held every two years since 2007. Co-sponsored by the Central Publicity Department, Central Civilization Office, General Political Department of the National Liberation Army, National Trade Union, Central Committee of the Communist Youth League and the All-China Women's Federation, the selection has the largest scale, highest standards and widest coverage nationwide.

It aims to give full play to the leading role of moral models, mobilize the masses to participate in the moral practices and further increase the social moral level.

In 2013, Liang Jiaohua won the award nomination of the fourth national moral model, the only winner from Hechi. Moreover, Hechi's Mo Zhengao and Su Huimin were on the list of candidates of the third Guangxi moral model selection held in March.
